Teuflesberg Doing Well
Three year old colt, Teuflesberg is doing well after surgery to repair his broken sesamoid bones. He is comfortable walking on the leg, and spends many hours a day with his groom, who has been working overtime with the rambunctious colt.
So, now along with jockey Leparoux, who pulled him up before any further damage could be done to the leg, his groom also deserves kudos for his role in saving Teuflesberg’s life.
Prognosis is good for recovery, but again an injured thoroughbred is a fragile thing and he is still not out of the woods.
