Juvenile Fillies
1. A to the Croft- Improving filly..lot to like.
2. Grace Anatomy- Ditto
3. Irish Smoke- True Smoke Glacken doesn’t produce many horses that can run a distance, but this filly is talented and this race isn’t a mile and a quarter. She was spectacular earlier in her career, and we are willing to give her another chance.

Juvenile
1. Pyro- Was pretty good in second to War Pass last out.
2. War Pass- looked like the real deal winning the Champagne.
3. Tale of Ekati- improving every time, and Barclay Tagg doesn’t come with them unless they are ready to go.

Filly and Mare Turf
1. Honey Ryder- Consistent filly who will not mind soft ground.
2. Danzon- Improving, and also likes soft ground.
3. Precious Kitten- great for a price.

Sprint
1. Greg’s Gold- he should have won his last time out.
2. Idiot Proof- Very good at Monmouth.
3. Midnight Lute- much the best.

Mile
1. Nobiz Like Showbiz- Again, will be surprised to see Tagg go home empty handed.
2. Kip Deville
3. Excellent Art

Distaff
1. Lear’s Princess- Defeated Rags, and will not be a pace casuality.
2. Octave- Really consistent, underrated filly.
3. Teammate- Giant Killer should not be ignored.

Turf
1. Dylan Thomas- ok, the Europeans will bite us on this one.
2. English Channel- always underrated, and likes the soft going. Should get into the tri’s from his affinity for Monmouth.
3. Better Talk Now- Knows this race, and the old guy likes it.

Classic
1. Curlin- Everyone thought he was really something special in the spring, and in my opinion still is. His Derby finish was decent, and then he ran well in the remaining Triple Crown races. Even the great Seattle Slew bounced after his Triple Crown, so we can excuse Curlin’s Haskell. The real Curlin didn’t show up that day, but he was back for the JC Gold Cup, and we are guessing he will be there Saturday night.
2. Street Sense- Consistent and Classy…will be in the thick of things, and right there at the end.
3. Any Given Saturday- While, I also love Lawyer Ron…he has been beating up on the older guys all year, but are they in the same league as the three year olds? Him and Hard Spun just may cancel each other out, and Any Given Saturday obviously does well at Monmouth. He earns our third pick for this very reason.
